Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat Forward
I was recently invited to an event hosted by Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat Forward. The event was a fundraiser in support of the Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization designed to help at-risk youth reach their full potential both in the classroom and as individuals.
In my observation of the parties in the room, I noticed the calm and humble nature of Udonis. He mentioned that he was not into the hype and that he spends a lot of time giving back to the community. A very admirable trait.
I managed to score a few interviews but was not able to do a photo op with Dwayne Wade, maybe next time. We also missed Chris Bosh as we left early.
